Many firearms manufacturers are now using TORX plus and not TORX. TORX plus can work with TORX but not the other way around. Make sure you are using a TORX plus bit AND your bit is straight onto the screw and not angled because the sight hood is in the way. https://a.co/d/0fB3Pcck

FYI that most firearms manufacturers are now using Torx Plus. A Torx Plus bit will work with Torx, but not the other way around. I use these. I'm a Staccato armorer and have never had a problem with stripping. I also use this torque driver, but it's expensive unless you're a gunsmith.
