I had similar problems last week, I tried everything. The only way I got it working was buying a bluetooth dongle and using bluetooth passthrough. For some reason wiimote connection stopped working for me on 43.1. Some important notes: Make sure to "whitelist" the bluetooth adapter in dolphin settings. In your game's advanced configuration menu make sure you have 'emulate wiimote' turned off. Have a keyboard handy, open the game in dolphin and then immediately alt tab back into dolphin controller settings. Press the 'sync' button in the bluetooth passthrough settings --this might take a few seconds. Then go back to your game. After that my wiimotes connected normally when launching from the batocera menu.
