This is really good advice. Separately, once she’s back, make sure she has lots of vertical spaces these. Cats tend to hide under things when there’s no “up high” spaces for them, but then they are more afraid because they’ve cornered themselves. If they have ways to perch up high and to get on top of bookcases and other vertical furnishings there are less likely to hide under things. They’re more confident up high.
