If the super recommended it when you moved in, they probably know something shady is going on. I would also get those cheap door alarms from Amazon that lets out a very loud alarm when the door opens. If the dude opens the door or really starts rattling it and the contact comes off, it’s gonna be chaos. Everyone will know. To add, these are aliens can hear this shit in outer space loud. There’s a super loud door chime noise and then there’s a blaring alarm. https://a.co/d/0dHuTddv Not sure what door camera you have, but a lot of those systems have a thing that will also notify you when the door is opened specifically, I have both (the alarm and the notification system) on my front door and on my fire escape window. My door notification system is from Eve (my camera is inside near the front door because the coop I live in doesn’t allow door video systems), so you would need an Apple TV or some sort of other hub and use Apple home. But it helps to not get 3000 notifications of someone walking by tripping the camera, it lets me know someone has opened the door. Have gotten maybe 1-2 false notifications in the 3 years I’ve had it.
