Bruh. There is countless variety from a different manufacturers. If you're saying they all suck, then you're just being disingenuous. Look around and surely you'll find something that looks good, even if one that doesn't look the same as a Steam Machine. Or don't. If the Steam Machine gives you such a massive boner, then go for it. EDIT: Just for reference, here's (Amazon link) a comparable cube shaped case, if that's what you find attractive. It's a bit bigger in dimensions, but you can optionally get it with an easy to carry handle, if you're into that.
