OK, your counter-weight is on backwards, and is set at a very high maximum tracking weight. You need to fix that, and buy a cheap digital tracking force scale: https://www.amazon.com/Neoteck-Digital-Turntable-Backlight-Cartridge/dp/B01HRJ9NAY To answer your question, the tonearm lifter/bar is missing. You will need to set the tonearm down manually, do so carefully. Buy a new part here: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/265845101339 Or here: https://samuraiaudio.com/products/sony-ps-x70-ps-x60-ps-x50-tonearm-arm-lifter-lift-bar-1

Audio-Technica has a set-up video for the LP120X: https://youtu.be/eXcgF2SY35Q You will need to adjust the tracking weight and set the anti-skate, but there is no belt to fiddle with. It may be helpful to buy a cheap tracking force scale, lots of new users seem to set the tracking force too high. It should be 2 grams: https://www.amazon.com/Neoteck-Digital-Turntable-Backlight-Cartridge/dp/B01HRJ9NAY

You need a new stylus, it looks from your photos as if the cantilever has collapsed. It should be pointing downward, not flat. It also appears to be broken! You probably set the tracking force far too high. Or used too much pressure when cleaning it. And you should not rest it on the felt mat like that. When you order a new stylus, also buy a digital stylus force gauge: https://www.amazon.com/Neoteck-Digital-Turntable-Backlight-Cartridge/dp/B01HRJ9NAY

Is it an original Sumiko stylus or an aftermarket? Some of the more obvious things to try: - make sure the stylus is fully inserted; - try what it does with the anti-skating set to zero, sometimes it works better that way (for example when the anti-skating mechanism is faulty); - doublecheck the tracking weight with an electronic scale; - check the TONEAM BEARINGS with this method: https://www.sound-smith.com/articles/how-test-your-tone-arm-bearings If this doesn't help, DEFINITELY return the stylus! It may well be faulty, also because it didn't arrive in the sealed packaging.
