i’ve used plastic/poly pellets and they’re fine, but if you’re really wanting to add weight i highly suggest glass microbeads - i have these ones (https://a.co/d/0bJgv52U) in my douglas dog and i’m obsessed with how she feels. just get some panty hose as well and pour the beads into the “toe”, tie a knot, cut off the excess, and then insert your little pouch wherever you want it in the plushie (personally i did 4 little pouches for each paw, a medium pouch in the butt to help her sit, and then a pretty large pouch in her body to make her as weighted as possible) edit: also, not sure if you’ve opened up a plushie before, but many of them are closed up on their back with a ladder stitch - this is the stitch/seam you will want to find and snip the threads of, because it will not unravel any of the stronger machine stitching used elsewhere on the plushie. you can then close it back up with a ladder stitch which is super easy even if you’ve never sewn (my only experience is with plushies lol)
