I also used washable panties, with maxi pad liners. I used to buy the store brand pads, as they were about half the cost of the name brand. I bought the ones with wings, and the wings wrapped around the sides just enough to help them stay in place. I had 4 pairs of the panties. Purchased mine on Amazon.
