Oh, wow. I think it's good that you and your GI are checking all those things out, to rule out something really dangerous like a tumor. But it can be stressful. But the HIDA scan showed everything was good. But she still was having the pain sporadically. She got a lot of relief from a bile salt supplement called TUDCA. It thins out sludgy bile and can even dissolve some gallstones slowly over time. For her, it went from attacks that sent her to the ER, to having no more attacks, and only slight discomfort a few days a month. I think you may want to try it. You can take TUDCA while you are taking ginger and artichoke. There is another supplement called Rowachol that is an alternative to TUDCA. One thing to know is, if you have a gallstone above a certain size, and bile salts eventually shrink a stone to a size that could lodge in a duct, there's a chance it could cause a blockage. I am not saying that's a big chance. But if you get a sharp and persistent pain on that side, don't ignore it. ...
