Mechanic here: if the reverse lights are stuck on, then pulling the plug off the switch should shut them off if the issue is a faulty switch. That looks like the right location for the switch on a sonata. Pretty sure it's ground side switching from memory. Simple circuit. If that has no effect then the circuit is being completed elsewhere in the chain - time to get out the test light and/or the multimeter. It's possible it could be the plug but unlikely IMO.
