Just wanted to follow up on this for those looking for lower cost sleep mattress options. I also got a lower cost version of the Hest on Amazon, a 4” dual foam memory foam mattress for ~$100 from Gaialoop. https://a.co/d/0a5F0MQ0 I was hoping this would be more like my home memory foam mattress. Unfortunately it was too soft and didn’t really provide enough support for me personally. I got out the Lost Horizon mattress to compare the two. I found that the LH was more comfortable for me when I did not add ANY air to it. I just layed it down and closed the valves. I store it with the valves open, so it was fully self- inflated, but no additional air. It was more comfortable for me than the rolled memory foam mattress. Hest does not disclose the density of the foams they use so I cant say that the one I got was a direct comparison, but I’m sure it is close. I guess I will give the LH another try with no added air!
