Considering my ammo is $3 a pop, you can see the financial advantage alone. If you can't get a bore sight, then take your gun to the pistol range and shoot at 10 yards. With a 1.54" height above bore optic, try to zero 2-2.5" below the bullseye, and you should be "close" to bullseye at 50 yards. If you're not even on paper at 10 yards, then check your optic mount - something is seriously off at that point.
