I ran buried (in conduit) orange fiber (pretty sure it's MM 62.5/125) between 2 buildings more than 20 years ago. It's never been used, but now I'd like to try connecting it to my Ethernet switches (I think the CAT5 I've been using may have failed). How do I get the fiber terminated, and are interfaces like this good enough? https://www.amazon.com/Converter-SFP-Transceiver-550M-ipolex/dp/B0716XT1QT/?th=1 I'm happy with gigabit and don't need to try for anything faster.
