I have a J5create JCD401 dock for my portable touch monitor thats similar to the Mokin dock that the other replier put out. I don't know if VR requires extra power from that port or not, but these docks don't give out more than 5W. I had to go for something like this instead https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BW8QKFHK to get my portable monitor running at full brightness else it would flicker. Theres similar cables from fairikabe, wseojg, lauryal(might have spelt wrong) if you do an image search and has both options for HDMI and Display port. But the cables did not work with my two USB3 docks since the ally has no HDMI or DP port, probably because docks are active cables themselves or unconfigured chips. Only the USB4 JCD401 dock worked. So get the mokin or j5create dock, and if the power is insufficient you need one of those cables on top
