Bad idea. No other radio is like the Qodosen. Keep the DX-286. In time you may learn enough about portable MW, FM, SW and LW radios to value it for what it is. Good idea: spend another $28.11 on this for your NOAA weather. Now you are covered for WX. Next purchase: a good external antenna for the Qodosen to make a top performer even better. Next purchase after that: a second portable with SSB reception or an Airspy or SDR Play for your expert level SDR.
