Ok I feel completely like a shill for Mr Bezoz but these are the two boots I use. 6 weeks post op Trimal.Short boot (size up from your “before”) https://a.co/d/0gkKPx8k Soft boot that feels like heaven after wearing any stiff boot all day. My BFF all the time, since I am only wearing the rigid boot for out of the house activities and I’m non weight bearing. https://a.co/d/039WfRPi If nothing else, get that bad boy. It’ll make you cry with how soft it is. Good luck. It all sucks. Also, you do have an elevated pillow, right? That’s a first stop need.

This is the short boot I bought. Warning, buy a size bigger than you think. I had to send one back because I stupidly bought my “before” size. https://a.co/d/0fKJoHEx This is my best friend. For when you are cleared to remove the cam boot for sleeping. Omg I love this thing so much. https://a.co/d/0czcPpgw This is the cheap wheelchair I got, plus I added the leg extender so I could sit comfortably at my work desk. You also need a good memory foam cushion to sit on. https://a.co/d/06S1nk9o And this is my elevated cushion I use constantly. It comes apart so you can raise and lower it, plus it has a small cushion I carry w me everywhere to soften when I prop my foot on the wheelchair or whatever. https://a.co/d/0eaUKrpL Besides that, I got a couple of ice wraps and a shower chair that have been very helpful. Oh and a spring loaded grabber.Good luck!!

Only 2.5 weeks out and was told to not sleep in boot. Nothing at all made me nervous as well so I've been sleeping in this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3WZ4HYC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 It seems to do the job so far.

Mine seems a bit better made than that. It is very fluffy and has a less satin and more cottony cover. I love it and wear it ALL the time. EZ Assistive 1pc Heel Protector... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3WZ4HYC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Ok I have two hot tips, first is the elevated pillow with the scooped out middle. It’s great and you can spilt the pieces to customize it.This is the one I got and it’s awesome. KingPavonini 4-Height Adjustable... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BB9SSTJK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Next up is my soft plush nighttime ankle support. I’m in LOVE with it. This is what I sleep in at night and actually use some during the day. https://a.co/d/0fyg6wUY

Oooh this is the thing! I am sleeping in it since they said I didn’t have to sleep in my boot. It’s so comfy but also protective. I may never stop wearing it at night!! It’s a puffy padded ankle support wrap. It’s huge, lots of padding, and very soft. https://a.co/d/022fUMh1

Ok I’m the worst for shopping while on Percocet, but I’ve decide my new favorite thing is this baby blue baby. My boot always chafes me along the bottom of my foot and is generally just so clunky that I was looking for a supportive replacement for it at night, since the doc said I could take the boot off to sleep. I ordered this and omg I’m in love. It’s soft and padded and snuggles my ankle in its protective cocoon. Con is that the Velcro isn’t very long, so you can’t wear it with much more than a boot sock on, and some gel ice packs tucked inside. If you had longer Velcro bands, it could be adapted for adding your boot padding in there as well. Just tossing it out for those looking for a comfort pillow for our sad ankles. https://a.co/d/06roKjAx
