You can also buy a more powerful laptop with a 5060, 16gb ram, and 512gb ssd for less than the Steam Machine + Controller. You get the benefit of a competent gaming machine plus portability and endless utility (internet browsing, word processing, photo/video editing, emails, work, etc.). Beyond form factor, there's virtually zero reason to buy the Steam Machine.
