would prefer something that connects to WiFi maybe just add a WiiM streamer to the Edifiers - it's Amazon Prime Days so they're on-sale (excluding the Mini, but the next step up "Pro" is on for $120 rn) otherwise your choices for speakers equipped with wifi are pretty slim (and also expensive) as well as having long-term reliability concerns regarding app updates/availability/compatibility. google KEF LS50 for interesting points-of-view about putting all the tech in the speakers.

Why not use a Bluetooth receiver that outputs line level audio (3.5mm / 1/8” TRS plug)? https://www.amazon.com/GMCELL-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Streaming-Headphones/dp/B08XNP171S/ They also make ones that connect to Wi-Fi, so you could control it from further away. https://www.amazon.com/M5-Audiocast-iHeartRadio-Supporting-Supported/dp/B06WRSXVBR/ Also, WiiM is pretty popular: https://www.amazon.com/WiiM-Pro-Chromecast-Multiroom-Compatible/dp/B0BJDY6D1W/
