I’m so sorry you’re going through such a rough patch, honey! Do you have any people around you IRL who are helping you out at home? Now is a good time to lean on your village. I try not to speak in absolutes and hopefully I don’t butcher the words that I’m saying, but I am not sure that your supply is actually gone! You’re incredibly stressed out and you’ve been crying, that alone can inhibit your supply. Many mamas who have had low supply will tell you that the day that you accept that it’s okay for your baby to be fed by other means and you’ll still be the mother your baby needs, that’s the point when the supply rebounded. It’s the weight of the stress coming off the body. You’re probably also dehydrated because of the crying. Try to replenish your energy by drinking a lot of water, ideally with some kind of electrolytes added or coconut water specifically, or something nourishing like ginger tea. Get some simple protein and veggies, like scrambled eggs with some fresh spinach or mushrooms. Add some rice or quinoa to your dinner. Keeping mama fed and hydrated is the most important part today. Whenever you have the chance and mental capacity to, you power pump. If it’s hurting your mental health too badly to do it, then don’t! It’ll be counterproductive at that point. You more than likely need to change your flange size, so figure out where you can get new ones this week (I believe Willow has a new kit! https://a.co/d/09KBcY6Q). But we do still need to make attempts at removing milk even if not much is coming out whenever we’ve got the mental and emotional capacity for it. Do you have a lactation consultant who could see you in person this week? Someone who can be hands-on with you will hopefully be able to get you started back on the right path. Supplemental support is also okay, for baby and for mom! I personally like Legendairy Milk’s Milkapalooza pills for when I need a little boost.
