Honestly, cheap/easy enough to put on MPX too...granted only 9mm but you do say FRT.....you may put CAN on it at some point......
Remove HG....add this tape to bottom HG....gives additional heat shield between grip and Tucked CAN.HEAT Tape You can read this for Tucked but honestly it is 300BLK.https://pewscience.com/techdataI would tuck 9mm....but nothing bigger......but even for 9mm you can help mitigate.Thermodynamics is not going change.........
Yeah, funny.....but I am amazed how many people do not understand this basic physics reality. To "shield" idea......one item to pass along.......buy some of this and when take HG off put it on inside bottom of HG to help buffer heat transfer..... Heat Tape
For all those "Tuckers" (LOL).....some very easy DIY to help CAN=>HG heat.Next time you pull HG put some of this tape on bottom HG below where the CAN would be.You will amazed how much it mitigates HEAT transfer.Heat Tape I do leave the HG mid-upper holes open for heat dissipation (heat rises as you know).The tape width covers the bottom and somewhat up sides......you can cut however you want, obviously.
