I have used the following brands over the years: SpeedyBee, JHEMCU, HIFIONRC, GEPRC, iFlight and BetaFPV. Of these brands, I have used more JHEMCU boards than any other. I really like the HIFIONRC boards, but lately, I have not seen them. I have used several GEPRC and BetaFPV boards with no issues. Darwin is generally cheap, but I have moved up from boards with an F411 to boards with at least an F405. Since you mentioned using 3S batteries, you will need a board that supports 3S input voltage. Either something like a 1S-3S (DarwinFPV = F411 15A), a 2S-4S, 2S-6S (NewBeeDrone), or a 3S-6S (most boards). You are likely looking for a 25.5 x 25.5 diagonal oriented whoop/toothpick board. I would consider the following JHEMCU board. It seems to fit what you want. Yes, it might be a bit more than you need, but it will still work and the form factor (size) is not any larger than any other whoop board. Yes, it will fit. This board will work, plus, it is plenty sufficient to be used in a larger build later should you go in that direction. I buy boards like this just to keep in the parts bin because these will work with any quad that I would build from a tiny whoop to a 5-inch (sub-250-gram).
