Lol yes it's an iPhone app, but look for an app called electrified for Android. It may not be in the play store anymore, if not Google it and you'll find a link to download That's an alternate app for Android phones. You need at least an advanced ODB reader like this one Veepeak https://a.co/d/05KjgmnX

I purchased the Veepeak, and it works well with both Bimmerlink and Bimmercode. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XKQQQW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

You can buy a obd2 scanner and use a feee app on your phone to get the charging history and battery health. Takes less than 5 minutes. I bought a 2022 with 75k miles on it and it still had a 97.3 state of health on the battery so unless somehow it has been abused battery should not be an issue. Here is the $30 scanner I used. It can, a vaccum leak will do it also. Easiest way is to hook it up to bimmer link and see what its doing. Any problems when getting fuel and the pump clicking off early? Vent valves die decently commonly on these, one of the things we were told is mini drivers seem to like to top off the tank which can cause liquid to enter the vapor system under spirited driving. Thankfully these aren't like most cars where its on top of the tank. When you open the hood right on the front oof the engine is a small canister looking thing right in front of the intake. That is it. Literally pops on and off. If you own a mini you really should have these: https://amazon.com/dp/B073XKQQQW https://www.bimmerlink.app/ They can save you Alot. And I mean Alot. Lots of things on these are super easy diy to fix its the diag that gets people. Bmw is very good about thier cars telling you what's going on with the right software. Ie if its the fuel tank vent valve is about 30 bucks and 10 minutes of effort using aftermarket. 140 ish for factory part, but 250 easy for labor (250 hour shop time and your paying attention least one because bmw lol ) General obd may say evap performance but the bmw code is going to tell you a bit more like vent valve state, vaccum that its seeing etc.
