I second getting a harness. Get one that has a strap around the belly as well so she can’t get out of it. I have a large very anxious dog. She was four years old when I got her. They told me she was anxious but I didn’t understand the depth of it. I was taking her for walks at a local park. Fortunately this day I had a harness with a leash on her and a collar with a leash. Something spooked her and she got out of that harness in seconds. Fortunately I had the other leash on the collar and she didn’t get away. This is the one I have now and it’s really good. It has a handle on the back so you have complete control when you need it. Looks like it’s not available on Amazon right now but I’m sure it could be bought elsewhere.
