Fletching is virtually a mandatory skill to pick up for archery. If you're in the US, a decent fletching jig can be had for less than $40. If you have a 3D printer, this parametric jig can do almost literally everything, and faster than the jig linked above. The instructions appear a little daunting at first, but once you download the program to edit it, it'll become very intuitive very quickly.
