I enjoyed the Kmart cafeteria like 5 days a week as a kid. I literally grew up a couple streets behind a Kmart. I get it. Target and Walmart do not operate their own cafeterias. They sell space for chain stores like Starbucks and McDonald’s. Kmart was cooked by the late 90’s. Walmart built some locations that were 3x the size of a nearby Kmart and undercut on price, then factor in the internet. The lack of a cafeteria didn’t kill Kmart. Read this book. It’s very good: https://a.co/d/05dO2VYU
