I don't have a ton of income to spend on camping so I just used my backpacking tent. Which is a two-person, one pole tent with a footprint and fly. I've done very little modifications to it other than painting the tank, changing the stock seats and adding a back rack. I do my own maintenance and it's really simple. I bought it new and have had it for 4 years. I think it has about 16300 miles / 26200km on it. It's not super powerful because it's an air-cooled single and the bike itself is quite heavy, but It's surprisingly capable on rough and steep terrain. And handles beautifully in the corners with the right tires.
