life saving necklace fan https://www.walmart.com/ip/798936208?sid=5c306ccd-52df-4a96-afec-187951da4469 I was born and raised in Chattanooga and I keep my ass in a/c and the other thing that helps, especially when I was obese & taking opiate medication which makes you feel hotter, was 40mg black cohosh root extract (Estroven weight mgmt version or Spring Valley brand is what I've used). It's used for hot flashes in menopause, works on the hypothalamus's temperature regulation. That cut the severity of overheating and swesting by 75% from day 5 forward. I also have a rechargeable necklace fan that's really powerful, $12 from Walmart. It's better than the chunky ones with just little slits. When my car a/c broke I took ice packs for my neck and back in the car lol. The summer humidity/heat is my biggest complaint.

For me I go from warm to hot in 5min and then it takes about 30+ to pass while stripping down, turning up a/c, and a necklace fan. My first one lasted a long time and was more extreme than normally feeling hot in my apt where the temperature is always the same, and when it eventually passes I get cold from the air being so low. Then mo flashes for 3wks, then I got multiple ones daily so started hrt. I'd been having drastic skin aging and thinning and insomnia for a year already. this necklace fan saved my life https://www.walmart.com/ip/798936208?sid=50359c5a-d0c3-4204-a3cb-bb4a700a600b
