I had actually success with vinegar/ dawn and i bought sticky straps for the window and placed the bowl with vinegar right infront of it :) worked great having those film traps along the part of my window. Nope. I just changed the sticky pads in my Katchys, and I caught five in my computer room and one by the back door in the last couple of hours. This is way reduced from last week, but I still don't understand it. If there were gaps around the window in the computer room, I'd expect to find some dead ones on the windowsill, but I don't. The back door Katchy will surely catch up (pun unavoidable), but it's like they know where I am and make a beeline to me, except they stay out of the other side of the house, which makes no sense if that were true. Tip: The Katchy refill sticky pads aren't that sticky, so I experimented with fly paper, which worked well. However, fly paper is a PITA to work with, so I found these clear strips intended to be stuck to windows that work nearly as well. I cut them into semicircles and stick them to the bottom of my Katchy. They're also good for sticking around the lip of my sink, to the fridge, etc like I mentioned in my OP.
