I also have a mini-fig addiction and did the same with Bardsung, though mine was only $50! But then I went on to buy the Fables and Lost Levels (and 3D assets bundle) for not such a deal, but it is what it is. I haven't tabled it yet but I do mean to play it at some point. A lot of people seem to like it but the biggest complaint is how long/sloggy it is, but that's why there's Homebrew! Regarding the quality, it's made by Steamforged, who also do Epic Encounters. Heck if you pick up a box or two you may even see a familiar face... That guy by himself (well you get a board and probably a book about using him in D&D) is $45, so yeah, Bardsung is an amazing deal! If you like their minis, check out Godtear. It's one of those competitive area capture type games (kind of like fantasy chess) which doesn't interest me gameplay wise but the minis are fantastic. The Champion expansions are usually like $15 but you can get bundles for $30ish and they're on sale right now: https://www.amazon.com/SFG-Steamforged-Games-Godtear-Bundle/dp/B0FJP3BJBB I posted this the last time they were on sale, in case you wanted a comparison: https://www.reddit.com/r/Heroquest/comments/1rmkpd5/godtear_bundles_on_amazon/ And I also threw some Godtear in when I compared OrcQuest to HQ: https://www.reddit.com/r/Heroquest/comments/1gm6bhm/heroquest_vs_orcquest_vs_godtear_scale_images/ Lastly, there's some guy(s) on Facebook that have created monster cards for just about every Bardsung monster, as well as hero cards. I think I have them all downloaded, I can zip them up for you if you want them, just PM me.
