Buy the turntable for the turntable itself, not necessarily the cartridge. The cartridge or stylus can be changed later. To change the turntable you would need to buy another turntable. If you have better than entry level speakers then with the AT-LP5X when the E stylus wears out or sooner, replace it with the ML stylus that is usually preferred over the 2M Blue and the ML costs less. Leaving the stylus running in the run out groove for 5 to 10 minutes is not going to hurt anything. Even an hour a few times or 10 hours once then you just replace the stylus a number of hours sooner. The stylus is going to last 300 to 1000 hours depending on which model it is and is going to wear out at some point anyways and get replaced.
