I'm pro-ASIAir, but if you already have a laptop like you mentioned in the other post, then starting with that is great. If you ever want to switch to an ASIAir in the future, I'd suggest buying a ZWO guide camera now (like the 120 MM) to save the pain of getting a compatible one later. One issue with mini-PC's is that their cost has fricken exploded because of all the component shortages. That hasn't quite touched the ASIAir to the same degree (yet)... But for years people would suggest the Mele Quieter 4c Because it was ~$200... now they want $550 for it (before the coupon)... So that's a bit of a downer. There are other models out there that may be cheaper... but one of the biggest advantages to the mini-PC was you could save money, but now the mini-PC itself can eat up most of those savings.
