yeah I also hang-dry most of my clothes outdoors, unless it's winter or likely to rain. It works just fine. I don't know what I'm doing differently from all these other commenters... but I'm glad that it works for me! Clothes last a lot longer than they did back when i put everything in the dryer. And my energy bill is lower too. (I also have a big drying rack that I pop up inside when it's raining, and yes, duh, I still put sheets and towels in the dryer)
