Intel-based PCIe NICs (e.g., I210 or I226-V chipsets), or NICs using recent Realtek controllers (RTL8125 in any revision except the RTL8125K, or the RTL8111). An example of one that I use (2.5Gbit) is: https://www.newegg.com/derapid-rtl8125/p/14U-013G-00002?Item=9SIARJ2K082605 If you are using the 6.8 kernel, I'd definitely stick with Intel. If you are using 6.17 or 7.0, then you should be fine with the RTL8125 adapters without needing to install drivers. You can still use an RTL8125 with the 6.8 kernel, but then you'll need to install driver support. Easy but I'd rather have native kernel support.
