I have folders like these. Fire and waterproof. They’re inexpensive and gives me some peace of mind. I store all of my documents in them, some cash, and a credit card. One, easy thing to grab if I’m able to. If not, hopefully it survives a house fire like it’s supposed to. I haven’t suffered such an event so far, and I still like it for the fact that I never have to wonder where I put my passport or birth certificate, etc.
