I got a UGREEN 6-1 dock and unfortunately it did not work for me. I was unable to get VRR to work through that same ugreen dock between my Xbox Ally X and my LG C9. That’s not overly surprising since it doesn’t advertise VRR support and my TV doesn’t support FreeSync, so there’s more hoops for me to go through. I was able to get VRR to work over this JSAUX dock: https://a.co/d/0hnl2QW0 The fan part is optional, I just didn’t attach it. Might be work trying, since they do explicitly state VRR support?
Option 3 makes the most sense here, but treat the dock as part of the power budget. The JSAUX HB0705 is the route I would use with a real 100W charger and 5A cable.
