Since you are already in therapy, would it help to have a plan all laid out already? There are books that have been published by personal trainers with work out plans in them. It would give you an "approved plan" you could work through, while you are working through this with your therapist. I used The New Rules of Weightlifting For Women several years ago. (Dude is pretty gross about weight though, so don't read if you are sensitive to body dysmorphia or ED.) The routine is pretty good and mapped out for several months worth of work.
