are you elevating with pillows? I found that to make the hot/tear sensations even worse. I switched to an elevation pillow from Amazon and it helped a lot since I would pull it closer to my knee. (https://a.co/d/0exVolgB) Other than that I would rely on pain meds if it got bad. You could try the icing behind the knee which is what my surgeon recommended

9 weeks out and my knee still swells and hurts. Not as bad as before. They say the swelling can come and go for months. I use tramadol and celebrex for pain and inflammation.
