Cheers! Yeah I was wary about hacking into an otherwise clean and usable controller, but u/Shock720 's point about 8bitdo offering a receiver for use with the OG N64 is reassuring. Although 🙃 given the mod kit is $40 USD and the receiver is $25 USD, at that point I might as well just get the NSO controller. 😛 Appreciate the suggestion though!
