It will not activate the high beam indicator, to get that to work though I bought this: https://a.co/d/05YCIwT4 Or you can go with this method but you’ll need to splice your wiring harness: https://a.co/d/0jfs8yLq LED bulbs do not pull the same amount of power when using high beams, so these load resistors simulate that like a halogen bulb. These things get really hot though, so make sure you mount them away from plastic parts/pieces. When I got my retrofit headlights, I asked the store the same thing about making the high beam activation indicator if I got their headlights, they pointed me to this part: https://cruisertrashparts.com/products/hbim-high-beam-indicator-module-for-fj60-koito-headlight-harness It works perfectly and doesn’t generate heat like the load resistors do. Before I got my retrofit headlights, as there was a lead time, I tried this module out with my colight LED bulbs and bought a H4 wire splitter so I can plug in the module into it and then one plug back into the led bulb and then back to the main h4 wiring of the 4runner. It worked for awhile but it did blow the fuse inside the module and I think it had to do with the previous owner’s wiring of an aux light switch that activates the high beam while not needing to use the stalk to do so dunno why he did it that way but it was an odd wiring hack. Regarding the back seal, it was a tight fit to get the larger and longer bulbs to fit and still maintaining the rubber seal, but it is possible to get it install and still use the seals.
