there are regular hard drive cages that fit in 5.25" bays that are pretty cheap. https://a.co/d/04fIIXGq

<Can i ask details about your connections? Now you have more questions?? Dang, you're starting to get needy!! ; ) Of course you can ask them, shoot away! <How are you managing connecting each drive power and data to the pc? Well, currently this pc has 4 internal SATA ports and 4 free power ports or it has 4 available after I unplugged and removed excess drives like cd, DVD or anything similar that isn't needed for my NAS or at least not in the near term future but, im keeping them stored and as I mentioned earlier, im doing a lot of testing, trial by fire, etc. So, in the case I can mount 2 - 3.5" HD's and I'm currently working a DIY mount for a 2.5" HD out of an old laptop and that will be everything I can fit internally. A 500Gb external USB HD is plugged into USB and for my 4th intetnal SATA/Power cables, I've ran them out from the back of the case where I removed one of the metal cover plates and those 2 wires are how I'm currently connecting 1 last HD and still have 1 I'd like to use but, ive gotta order some new hardware to allow me additional SATA ports and eventually I'm expecting I may run into power issues and will need to seek separate psu for many of the drives but, so far that hasn't been a problem for me. I was looking at some external racks like these and using this type where it has lots of potential for if I need to do any DIY modifications or whatever and many of the "nicer looking plastic hubs" would be far more difficult if even possible to modify later on. I found this interesting and you may also so, I'll share it with you! Like many people I have accumulated lots of USB thumb drives, micro-SD cards, and things like 4 or 8 port USB hubs that are all mostly in storage and so, the other night I was doing some research into if it were possible to virtually combine USB thumb drives into a single storage drive that I can add to my NAS as more storage..... Well, SOB!!! Guess what one of the included "Extras" that come with any OMV install is?? Its the exact type of solution that I'm looking for! OMV wiki so, now I can use one of my 4 USB port hubs and plug in 4 USB thumb drives or a micro-SD card to USB adapter which I use personally but, this add on let's me easily combine these 4 drives into a single HD that is usable and works the exact same way as any of my 3.5" HD's do in OMV and I really like that feature myself
