Parallel Universes of Self

There's a book I read on this topic a few years back.... you might enjoy itThe Alter-Ego Effecthttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J1LB6H8/ I'm not sure I found the author all that compelling, but he was one of the first I can remember putting this idea out in such a direct way. He offered a number of really good ideas about stepping into your alter-ego persona when you need to activate types of behavior or motivations. The idea is solid, IMHO....but the author's execution felt a bit surface-level, maybe. On a similar note, you might enjoy Parallel Universe of Self by Frederick Dodson https://www.amazon.com/dp/1546841431 . Some might find it a bit hokey (and it is at times), but it offers a really good model for this idea. Even if you don't believe his suggestions literally, I think they offer a great framework for personal change. Good luck!
