When I did my dashcam install, it took a lot of hunting, as the harness was tucked way back, out of the way, behind everything else. I used this harness for my 2024 Crosstrek (with powered mirror): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PCDVCS6 There are some comments about the Crosstek harness not fitting, and needing to use an Outback one instead, and I thought I'd have to do that too, (hence the hunting in the earlier paragraph) but I then I learned that it just meant I was looking at the wrong end of the plug.... If you follow the cable up, you'll find where to plug in the harness.
