I’m also chronically ill/disabled and used to be housebound for a few years before getting proper treatment, and I still spend probably at least 95% of my time at home. I, too, got a kindle because it’s lighter than most books. I don’t have a proper stand, but I have a case with a kickstand and hand strap by Fintie that I really like. I prop it on a lap desk when I’m on the couch and on a pillow in bed, and that works well for me. Also, the ring page turners are the superior page turners.

I’ve had this case on my PW 11 since December. It’s very good and has everything you want except the strap is designed to be held with the left hand. Magnet is very strong, both holding the cover back and sleep/wake, comes in multiple sold colors including black.
