The s11 is genuinely great. I replaced an iPad Pro M5 with it a few weeks ago. Battery life is excellent - far better than I anticipated actually. The screen is fantastic, the speakers are really good (not fill a dance studio good, but very good). There is no issue at all with performance anywhere that I've noticed - including testing it with gaming. For netflix, work, browsing and media playback, it's going to be ideal. In response to your questions - yes, you can do audio via a usb c adaptor into a 1/4" stereo jack. I'd suggest double checking reviews before your order if you can, but they're not expensive to buy. You'll just need an aux cable with it, unless you decide to buy a bluetooth speaker/boombox or something. It depends how often you are going to be using it. I personally have a separate case and a bluetooth keyboard so that if I'm not needing it for work stuff or writing, I don't have to carry the extra weight. This gives you a lot more flexibility. If you want to go keyboard case, I've heard the Samsung one is fine and it because it connects via pogo pins, it doesn't need charging. I've also seen good reviews about the this Techgear one - but I haven't tried that personally. You could go for something like an S10+ if you want a slightly larger screen (12.4" vs 11") but you get older hardware, so it may not last quite as long. This is really up to you and how much you would prefer to spend on the tablet. Personally, I wouldn't go back further than the Tab S10 series, but other people will vouch for the S9 etc. If you can shop around, it might makes it much better value. Some of the retail pricing for the Tab S11 series is crazy at the minute, but I found a local retailer who had it on sale at £599 vs £999 it is currently (UK obviously). That made it a no brainer really. I have to say, I don't think I would spend £1000 on it - I'd probably go back toi the iPad Pro M5 again if I was going to spend that much. Not that it's not a great tablet, but I think the long term value proposition is better with the iPad Pro if you're spending that much.
