"a headphone jack" I used to think I needed a 3.5mm headphone jack because I hated the wireless Bluetooth earbuds. Heck, I even disliked the USB-C to wired headphone jack dongles. Then I discovered USB-C wired earbuds, like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCH8VDXF/ 👆 Once I got those, the 3.5mm headphone jack became obsolete. But yeah, I don't know what phone to recommend you, but I know what it's like to think "I need a 3.5mm headphone jack". The 3.5mm headphone jack is becoming obsolete, so might as well not let that limit you.
"has good battery life" I recommend everyone get an external cellphone battery charger. They sell them on Amazon and at the pharmacy like CVS. If my phone battery dies, I plug in the external cellphone battery and then put them both together in my pocket. Also, if I want to replace the cellphone battery, I just go on Amazon and type the name of the phone and then the word "battery". There are lots of places that will do the actual replacement for you for cheap. "has an sd card slot" Most phones nowadays have a USB-C port on the bottom. You can buy a USB-C-to-USB-A adapter, plug the USB-C side into the bottom of your phone, and then plug the USB-A side of the adapter into a USB thumb drive, like that you use with your laptop or desktop. Then open the "Files" app on your phone, it should recognize the USB thumb drive as a hard drive. You can copy all your files over from the phone to the USB thumb drive. I do this on Android. With my Samsung phone with no SD card, it even has the option to save photos directly to the USB as if the USB is an SD card. This option is in the camera settings. "and preferrably a headphone jack" I used to think I needed a 3.5mm headphone jack because I hated the wireless Bluetooth earbuds. But yeah, I don't know what phone to recommend you, but I know what it's like to think "I need a 3.5mm headphone jack" or "I need an SD card". It takes some adjusting, but these things are gradually becoming obsolete.
