I see what you mean! There is definitely no need to buy lots of stuff to fill the space. It is totally okay to just get what you need and if by chance you do relocate, you'll have your base essentials, and way way less clutter. Definitely a small table and a couple chairs so you can keep sleeping and eating separate. I see absolutely nothing wrong with an air mattress! I want to buy one to have for guests! They are comfortable and shoot, you even have a headboard. My actual ass bed doesn't even have a headboard so you're doing alright! I only suggest a proper mattress because I don't think air mattresses are great for your back long term but that might just be an inflation thing. Self pumping sounds like you're set though! A shower caddy sometimes seems extra but it makes cleaning the shower easier, keeps the bottoms of bottles from getting that gross slimey sludge business and keeps everything at a convenient height. Oh!! And a dimmable shower light of some sort because I'm sure as soon as you close the shower curtain it's dark in there! And a Swiffer XL with the wet pads/dry pads. I've found the dry ones are really good at getting the dust, debris and hair and the wet ones get up dirt but also have a very very light pleasant smell. Edit: link
