Yep, oil based lubes can indeed damage your silicone-based toys. In my opinion the best bang for your buck as far as lubes go would be K-Lube which comes in a powder form. You mix it with water to your desired consistency and it lasts forever. It has its own preservatives and dispersing agents that make it easy to mix large batches for later use. Personally I mix it in a bottle like this which makes it super easy to dispense later, whether I'm applying it directly or filling a lube launcher. Anal lubes tend to be thicker than regular lubes because your sphincter constricts a lot more than a vagina would so you generally want something that'll hold on to the surface you're applying it to so that it doesn't just rub right off.
