I was an inexperienced new user and found the Saalt cup (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086694C6G) the best. It took 2-3 periods to get used to the techniques for inserting them, but keep at it! The Saalt cup was too small for 1st and 2nd days, especially during work, and overnight, so I experimented a little and finally found it comfortable to use a Super Jennie large (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A2YZUAI) on those days. I tried the Venus XL (amazon.com/dp/B07BJKCVDD) as well, but it blocked my urine passage lol, and I literally could not pee because it was too firm. (https://putacupinit.com/firmness/) I would suggest starting with a small soft cup to get used to using it, and then move to an XL /Large average/soft firmness after some experience. It's definitely an upfront larger cost as compared to pads, but pays itself off in the years to come, not to mention the comfort (after you get used to it at least !)
