Good luck!! You’re gonna do great! I highly recommend you grab some loose, comfy period underwear, and maybe grab some loose pants/shorts. I bled more than I thought I would that first week despite being on birth control, and I was desperately wanting something comfy to wear. I was very bloated especially that first month, and I didn’t want anything touching my waist besides an ice pack, so buying pajamas a few sizes up is a great idea! I had some microwave meals ready to go, the convenience was great I also had a hard time cleaning myself after going to the bathroom, you can’t bend over pretty much at all, so having a peri bottle on hand saved me! Also you need a way to sit in the shower and have someone else wash your hair. The first week wasn’t horrible at all, I stayed consistent with the meds they sent me home with and felt the need to sleep a lot. It’s only when you start moving around more that you’ll start to feel more uncomfortable. Having a reading pillow really helped too! I’ll attach the one I have, it’s comforting to have a pillow to protect your tummy (my cat was walking all over me lol) Oh and your throat will be quite sore that first week because of the breathing tube! So some kind of throat coat tea with honey would be good Let me know if you have questions! The anticipation is the worst part, then your only job is to recover <3 reading pillow
