I generally avoid books with MTIs. I have the box set and had to reorder a few times to get the set without the MTI. I guess it's all about marketing, but I wish we could get clean books. I have a beautiful hardcover of Shogun, but they had to ruin it with a Hulu imprint that should have been a sticker. If they were advertised without MTI and you got the MTI, return them if it bothers you that much and costs nothing. Or you just keep them.
